Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit motocrosstheforce.com or sign up for our newsletter, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
This website is run by Shanghai Chaperot Science and Technology Co., Ltd., the developer of Motocross The Force ("we", "us"). For anything about your data, email us at info@motocrosstheforce.com.
What we collect
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you news about Motocross The Force, such as development updates, demos, playtests and release dates. After you sign up, we send a confirmation email, and you're only added once you confirm. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Website visits
Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use it to identify you.
What we don't do
- No analytics or tracking scripts, and no advertising.
- We don't set cookies on this website.
- We never sell or rent your data.
Why we use it (legal basis)
- Newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
- Website hosting and security: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.
Services we use
These companies process data for us, only for the purposes above:
- Kit (kit.com) stores newsletter subscribers and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) hosts the website and protects it from attacks.
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it's protected by safeguards recognised under EU law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Videos and links to other sites
Some pages include YouTube videos. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, but when you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect data under its own privacy policy. Links to Steam, Discord, Instagram and YouTube take you to sites with their own privacy policies, which we don't control.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email.
- Hosting logs: only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security, normally a short time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@motocrosstheforce.com and we'll reply within one month. If you think we've handled your data badly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The newsletter isn't meant for children under 16. If you're under 16, please don't sign up.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is important, we'll also tell newsletter subscribers by email.
